20th May 2023

I can now ell you we are to have 4 or 5 very famous, very professional singers & dancers from Nepal as well as of course, the Village Band at our great Day Out. Among our Special Guests will be the Leader of Hampshire County Council, The Chief Executive of Eastleigh Borough Council, The Mayor of Winchester. I have just invited Our Nepalese Ambassador. We are hoping to also hear that Eastleigh's Deputy Mayor can come.

If any of you have a son or daughter who is graduating from school or college or university we need to know so we can present them with Congratulatory Certificates. Need to know as soon as possible.

We need volunteers for May 20th, on the Day Out.

At the Gardens we need people for car parking control, setting up & laying out tables, collecting voluntary donations, directing & helping visitors & guests Every year we have needed you & you have never let us down, please don't let us down this year: this is a very special Day for EGNA.

Voluntary donations of food & drink: water, coka cola, beer, wine & whisky  would be so very helpful as in previous years. Please write your names for the other voluntary positions &, separately, for the food & drink donations as soon as possible.

Anyone who may need transport should let me know. We are hiring a One Community bus but that only seats 15 First come, first served. We may therefore need help from other members with seats to spare in their cars.

Rajni Bali, on behalf of the Mela organisers, has asked me if any of our members would like to perform a dance on the stage at the Mela. I will need the volunteers' names as soon as possible as they are completing the lists of performers now.

Kind Regards,
